Update: Injury Romain Febvre
Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing rider Romain Febvre suffered a serious crash during the qualifying series for the British Grand Prix on Saturday. After an on-site examination by the medical services at the circuit, the 24-year-old Frenchman was immediately taken to the University Hospital of Southampton where he underwent further examinations.
The doctors at the University Hospital of Southampton immediately took photos and a CT scan of Febvre's entire body and spine. The diagnosis is that Febvre suffered a head injury and a broken right middle finger.
Febvre will therefore consult with the team and the FIM medical staff on Sunday whether he will still participate in the MXGP of England.
