GP Latvia: EMX300 – EMX250 – EMX125
EMX300 : Two out of two for Yentel Martens
In Latvia we had the second race for the EMX300 riders. The opening test was already won in Valkenswaard by our compatriot Yentel Martens. On the Kegums circuit it was a battle between Dutchman Mike Kras and Yentel Martens. Mike Kras won the opening series for Martens, but our compatriot then took victory in the second series with the day's victory. Yentel Martens of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team scores a two out of two in the EMX300 and has a seven-point lead over Dutchman Mike Kras in the standings.

EMX250: Thomas Kjer Olsen takes the win and leadership position
The British Conrad Mewse who won the opening race for the EMX250 in Valkenswaard was transferred to the MX2 World Championship in Latvia as a replacement for the injured Thomas Covington in the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team. So no Conrad Mewse at the start and that gave the Dane Thomas Kjer Olsen the opportunity to win the two series in Latvia. Second place in Kegums went to the Dutch Suzuki rider Bas Vaessen and third was the American Darian Sanayei who took the podium. Our compatriot Kevin Wouts finished ninth in the first series, but took a good second place in the second series behind winner Kjer Olsen. As a result, Wouts was only one point short of being on the podium. In the standings after two games, Thomas Kjer Olsen becomes the new leader and our compatriot Kevin Wouts is in third place.

EMX125 : Jago Geerts immediately takes the win!!!
In the EMX125 they were in Latvia for the opening match in the European Championship. It was our compatriot Jago Geerts who won both series. The 16-year-old Balenaar took victory in Kegums ahead of Zachary Pichon (son of former world champion Mickael Pichon) and the Dutchman Roan Van De Moosdijk. After this opening test, the Shakar KTM rider immediately has a lead of ten points over Pichon and twelve over Van De Moosdijk.
