EMX300: Brad Anderson wins, Martens just keeps the red plate
The third round of the EMX300 championship has once again become a thrilling thriller. The big three in the championship, Mike Kras, Brad Anderson and Yentel Martens, were actually wheel to wheel all weekend long.
The first round of the race took place on a perfect track EMX300 class starts Talavera de la Reina. Except for the holeshot of Christian Oliva Galera it was a pure show from the big three in the championship. Mike Kras, BradAnderson en Yentel martens were neck and neck during the entire heat.
In the first lap Yentel Martens managed to take over first place, Mike Kras was quickly in second place and Brad Anderson also immediately moved up to third place. The next 20 minutes were exciting, the Brit Anderson managed to pass Kras on lap 3 and another 3 laps later he also passed Martens for first place. For a long time we saw a duel that could go either way, first it was Martens who managed to put pressure on Anderson and then it was Kras who put pressure on Martens again. Suddenly Mike Kras had found the right lines and in one lap he managed to drive from third to first place and immediately opened a small gap. Yentel Martens had to drop out at this point, but with 5 minutes + 2 laps to go, Anderson didn't want to give up. He briefly tried to threaten Kras, but the Dutchman took the victory to him.

In the second round our top riders had a poorer start, names like Matthew Moffat, Patrick Vos, Aaron Pipon and the like who had started ahead of the top 3 in the championship. After battling it out with both Kras and Martens for places 6, 7 & 8, Brad Anderson decided it was enough. He fired up his turbo and in just a few laps he put his Yamaha in first place. Once there, the Brit opened a gap towards the rest of the field and they never saw him again. For second place it was a real duel between Yentel Martens and Mike Kras. The lowlanders went all out and once again made it a wonderful spectacle. When Kras wanted to launch yet another attack on Martens in the last lap, the doubled riders played an ugly role in this story, both the Belgian and the Dutchman had major problems with doubled riders who did not move out of the way in a correct manner. However, it was the death penalty for Mike Kras when he had to slam on the brakes to avoid crashing into someone from the back. Brad Anderson won this round, ahead of Yentel Martens and Mike Kras.
