EMX250: Thomas Kjer Olsen takes the maximum points again
In the meantime, there was already number 250 for the EMX5e championship match on the programme. The Dane Thomas Kjes Olsen is in the lead ahead of Australian Hunter Lawrence and American Darian Sanayei.
The first round starts well for the lowlanders, with Bas Vaessen taking the holeshot with his Suzuki ahead of the Frenchman Mathys Boisrame. The Hunter Lawrence is also doing well, when the Australian wanted to increase the pressure on Vaessen after already gaining a few pictures, he crashes and the Kawasaki pilot loses a lot of time starting his engine. Kjer Olsen benefits from this almost immediately. He passed home rider Jorge Prado Garcia like a rocket, who was second at the time and immediately moved up to first place a few laps later. The Dane clearly does not want to miss a single point. Meanwhile, behind him it is Bas Vaessen who can set a good pace and easily comes in second. Home rider Jorge Prado Garcia crossed the finish line in third place. Hunter Lawrence crashed for a second time in the final phase when he wanted to pass Nicolas Dercourt for 8th place, after losing a lot of time by having to start his engine, he eventually came in 35the across the finish line. The other challenger in Kjes Olsen's championship, the American Darian Sanayei, visibly had a hard time with the typical Spanish track in Talaveira de la Reina. He only came as 13e across the finish line.

In the second moto it was Thomas Kjer Olsen who put the finishing touches on it, after home rider Jorge Prado Garcia's holeshot, it was the Dane who quickly took over the lead and rode a lonely but successful race. In the meantime, a nice duel is going on behind him, Anton Gole, Nicolas Dercourt, Darian Sanayei and Hunter Lawrence fought for every meter. Just about halfway through the race it is Hunter Lawrence who drops from second place to fifth. Now it is Jorge Prado Garcia who sits second ahead of Anton Gole, Nicolas Dercourt and Darian Sanayei. The last quarter of the match is one to die for. After a round of dueling, Gole passes Prado Garcia and takes second place. Meanwhile, it is Nicolas Dercourt who loses his glasses when he also wants to pass the home rider Prado Garcia and that costs him points, so he drops to sixth place. Darian Sanayei put pressure on Prado Garcia in the last 5 laps but he got his Kawasaki past the KTM and had to settle for fourth place. Hunter Lawrence crosses the finish line in fifth place, having started outside the top 15.
