Second edition of 24MX International SX on October 8
The world's best supercross riders will once again make an appearance in Stockholm. On October 8, the second 24MX International Supercross will take place on an SX track with AMA dimensions in the fantastic Tele2 Arena.
More than 6.000 tons of earth will be supplied for the construction of a spectacular and challenging circuit. You can count on the 24MX International SX to once again field a strong field of leading American and European riders. After Jason Anderson's historic first Husqvarna victory in 2014, it will be more exciting than ever to follow up 'El Hombre'!
The organization will build on the successful recipe of the previous 24MX international SX, and the concept will be further refined:
– Supercross circuit with AMA dimensions, built by American specialists
– High level riders from all over the world
– Top spectacle with breathtaking FMX shows
– Top-shelf relaxation at family-friendly prices
– New race format and new competition classes
– Modern and comfortable accommodation with perfect visibility
Supercross legend, former 250SX and Monster Energy champion Davi Millsaps has already been tapped as one of the trendsetters. Millsaps will compete against the talented and stylish Martin Davalos. And Swedish fans can also prepare for the arrival of their own Fredrik Norén. Fast Freddie is currently living his American dream. Norén already made a name for himself in the States with strong results in the AMA Nationals.
Staffan Bergman, organizer: “We are proud to bring an event of this magnitude to Sweden again. It is therefore a privilege to organize the 24MX International SX in the Tele2Aren, one of the most beautiful stadiums in Europe. I really couldn't wish for a better location to see world-class SX and FMX riders in action!”
Daniel Petersen, CEO 24MX: “I'm sure many fans are very excited about this new edition of the 24MX International SX! After the great success of our first organization, we felt that we had no choice but to continue this story together with the public. This is a dream come true, this time will be better than ever.”
