Eli Tomac takes the win in Daytona
Eli Tomac took his first win of the season for the Monster Energy Kawasaki team. Tomac managed to win the SX450 Main Event in Daytona ahead of Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Marvin Musquin. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Jason Anderson finished fourth and Ken Roczen finished fifth.
In the standings, Ryan Dungey remains firmly in the lead and is even further ahead of nearest competitor Ken Roczen. The difference is already 39 points in the standings after nine games.

In the SX250 East Coast class, victory went to Jeremy Martin who preceded Justin Hill and Martin Davalos in the final race. Yet we were also able to record a good sixth place for the Swiss and ex-GP rider Arnaud Tonus. In the standings after two races, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Martin Davalos remains in the lead and has two points more than second man and winner in Daytona Jeremy Martin.
