Five factory teams at the start of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Axel
On Sunday, March 13, a very strong field of participants will be at the start of the first competition for the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Axel. Five factory teams are already at the start of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Axel. With five weeks to go before the starting gate drops, we can already inform you that five factory teams will be at the start in the MX2 class:
-Red Bull KTM Factory Team (Jeffrey Herlings and Davy Pootjes)
-Husqvarna Factory Racing (Max Anstie, Thomas Covington and Conrad Mewse)
-Kawasaki Racing Team (Petar Petrov)
-Wilvo Standing Construct Yamaha Team (Aleksandr Tonkov)
-Kemea Yamaha Team (Benoit Paturel and Brent van Doninck)
But there are more to come and that is why it is inevitable that the MX2 class will be a real hit in Axel. The HSF Logistics Motorsport Team with Brian Bogers, Calvin Flanders, Roberts Justs en Max Angels will ride the entire Dutch Masters of Motocross and it is very important to them to score high.
And what about the Husqvarna SKS Racing NL Team Lars van Berkel, who finished second in the Open Dutch MX2 Championship last year. Together with Sven van de Mierden en Carsten Goedegebure he can regularly be found on the sand circuit of Grevenbroich and they will be on edge in Axel.
Freek van der Vlist showed at the end of last year that he has a lot to offer. On his Kawasaki prepared by Harry Nolte, he regularly took the holeshot and led the field in the early stages. Van der Vlist finished in third place in the final standings of the ONK MX2 and experienced good growth last year.
Of course there are many more riders who want to show their qualities in Axel, among others. Micha Boy de Waal (No Fear Energy Kawasaki Team), Jens Getteman en Cyril Enjoyment (Silver Action KTM Team), Rene Albers (Vdlaar Racing), Eric Leijtens (Jezyck Racing), Rene de Jong (Andre Motors KTM) and the F&H Racing Kawasaki team with Ruben Fernandez.
So much quality in one class, it can't help but be fireworks in Axel. For more information about the Dutch Masters of Motocross, please visit dutchmastersofmotocross.com
