First Dakar test canceled due to bad weather
After yesterday's prologue in tropical temperatures, the real work started today in Argentina. However, the weather completely changed and heavy thunderstorms and precipitation meant that safety could not be guaranteed. The helicopters, which are responsible for safety, could not take off and ASO subsequently decided to cancel the ride. The score remains as it was yesterday after the prologue and everyone headed to the bivouac in Villa Carloz Paz for tomorrow's second stage. This ride is a total of 786km, of which 450km is timed.
