Justin Barcia, Jeremy Martin and Cooper Webb for team USA!
It's that time of year again, the hype is growing and more and more teams are being announced for the Motocross of the Nations. You could recently read here how team France will compete at home with a very strong team, now you can read how the USA will have to do with a, with all due respect, B-team.
Justin Barcia, Jeremy Martin en Cooper Webb will descend on France to defend the colors of the United States of America. Logically, Just Barcia will compete in the MX1 class. Jeremy Martin can participate in the MX250 class as a potential 250 outdoors champion and reigning 2 outdoors champion. And Cooper Webb exchanges the 250cc 4-stroke machine for a big 450cc machine to compete in the open class.
Ryan Dungey won't be there. Ryan, who was there for the last 6 editions, is now forced to remain sidelined with some minor injuries. The RedBull KTM pilot also makes no secret of the fact that the Aldon Baker training program has been tough for him this season and that extra week of rest really comes in handy.
The United States can win its 23rd mxdn title and 27th country title (including Trophée and Coup des nations). In terms of country titles, this can bring them on par with Belgium. But for now we will remain in history as the best motocross country in the world!
