Strijbos and Herlings were fastest on Saturday in Uddevalla
Kevin Strijbos and Jeffrey Herlings won the qualifying matches in a sun-drenched Uddevalla. It was a good day for our compatriots today. Damon Graulus won the first heat of the EMX250 class. Yentl Martens was less lucky. He was in the lead for the entire series, but the Husqvarna rider broke his scaphoid in a fall on the penultimate lap. He started again but in the end had to let Maddi in front.
In the MX2 class it was a train ride from start to finish. Herlings, Tixier, Guillod and Gasjer rode wheel in wheel from start to finish. Only Guillod was able to take action and advanced to second place. He insisted on Herlings, but he didn't get any further than that. Julien Lieber became the first compatriot in 9th place. Brent Vandoninck crossed the line in 11th and Kevin Fors finished 21st.
