Max Nagl's title hopes burst like a bubble!
Max Nagl's hunt for the title now seems to be completely over. The German IceOne-Husqvarna pilot will also have to miss the Grand Prix of Sweden and Latvia after previously missing his home GP.
What once seemed like a good starting position for Maximilian Nagl is now only a bitter memory. A stupid crash in the qualifying round of the German Grand Prix, and David Phillipaerts who could no longer avoid and briefly touched Max Nagl's ankle joint. This will be discussed at the end of the season as one of the key moments. The then 'World Cup leader' suffered an injury that severely undermined the unique opportunity that had presented itself.
After Ryan Villopoto and Clément Desalle, Max Nagl is the third driver to knock himself out of the title race.
