EMX250: Graulus wins a mache, Desprey the overall
It was also in Sweden European 250cc Championship on the program. With the Dutchman Nick Kouwenberg leading the championship and the Belgian Damon Graulus in second place, this championship is certainly worth following
In first heat It was immediately these two protagonists who took the holeshot. Nick Kouwenberg led for Damon Graulus and Brian Hsu. After about two thirds of the race it was the JTECH Honda rider Nick Kouwenberg who made a mistake and dropped to fifth place. Just before this action, Maxime Desprey had also passed Brian Hsu and is now in second place. Kouwenberg is ultimately able to gain one place due to a mistake by Adam Sterry. But it is the Belgian Damon Graulus who wins this first series.
Series 1 highlights
In second heat We once again got a good start from Damon Graulus, he was second just behind Maxime Desprey. However, things went wrong for the Kemea Yamaha rider in the first lap and he fell back to the very last place. Meanwhile, at the front it is Maxime Desprey who leads ahead of Nick Kouwenberg, Brian Hsu and Adam Sterry. This situation also remains unchanged until the finish. Unfortunately, Graulus was not able to make up many places and lost important championship points by finishing in 36th place.
With still three games to go in Latvia, Lommel and Assen the championship seems to go everyone's way. There is only a 22 point difference between championship leader Nick Kouwenberg and fourth in the standings Damon Graulus.
