Will we see RV2 again in Mantova?!
Today it was announced that Xavier Boog will temporarily replace Ryan Villopoto. He will do this in the Grand Prix of Great Britain and also in the Grand Prix of France. The question remains, however, whether the American will be ready for the Italian Grand Prix, which will take place two weeks after the French Grand Prix on the legendary Maggiora course.
We have heard via, via, via ... via, via, via from Ryan Villopoto's manager that the American hopes to be able to participate in the last four Grand Prix races. This means that he will only be able to celebrate his comeback at the Grand Prix of Mantova, which takes the place of the Grand Prix of Brazil. It would be a huge disappointment for us Belgians because this would mean that Ryan Villopoto will not participate in Lommel. However, we report this with reservations.
The fact remains that this is certainly a huge sour apple for the KRT Monster Energy Kawasaki team. The man who was going to get Kawasaki and Monster Energy back together is currently sitting on eggs.
