Injury ends Dylan Ferrandis' season
Dylan Ferrandis had a not so happy weekend during the Spanish Grand Prix. The French talent had a turbulent weekend and he also left Talavera de la Reina with pain in his left leg. This was due to the fact that Dylan had hurt his knee during the warm-up on Sunday. In a crash in the second moto the knee was hit again.
Today the Frenchman had investigations carried out. However, the Doctor did not have good news. The Monster Energy Kawasaki pilot suffered damage to his meniscus during these falls, and the ligaments in the knee were torn. This means the end of the season for Dylan Ferrandis. He will undergo recovery surgery on Thursday.
Dylan Ferrandis is expected to compete in American supercross and outdoor events from 2016 onwards for Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit Monster Energy Kawasaki team. Spain could therefore also have been the last European MX2 race for the Frenchman.
