Elite Motocross Championship in Plomion!
Last weekend the penultimate race of the French motocross championship was held in Plomion. In the MX2, the audience saw their local French being challenged by none other than Standing Construct Yamaha pilot Valentin Guillod. The Swiss won the first round nicely, ahead of Maxime Desprey and Nicolas Decourte. In the second series, however, the Swiss challenger fell twice and suffered a flesh wound to the arm, leaving the way open for another victory for Maxime Desprey. The Bud Kawasaki pilot is in exceptional form and was ahead of Alexis Verhaeghe and Adrien Malaval in this second round. These three were also the overall podium in the MX2 class.
In the MX1 class we saw Nico Aubin win both series. The Suzuki pilot defeated championship leader Xavier Boog in both series. In the first heat we saw Loic Rombaut finish third, together with his fourth place in the second heat, just behind Valentin Teillet, which was enough for Loic Rombaut to take third place on the general podium of Plomion!
