Ryan Dungey and Cooper Webb win SX in Santa Clara
After Ryan Dungey won the title early last week, he added some shine to his title in the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. The Red Bull KTM rider took his seventh win of the season without any difficulty. Second place went to Geico Honda rider Eli Tomac and Weston Peick also took his first podium of the season with his third place.
There was a bit more action in the West Coast Lites class because we immediately had a massive crash after the start, including the new West Coast Lites champion Cooper Webb. But this did not deter Cooper and he started a catch-up race that he managed to convert into a win at the end of the stage. For Cooper this was also his sixth victory of the season. In addition to Cooper, Justin Hill and Alex Martin were also allowed to stand on the podium.
