EMX Series: Valkenswaard on Saturday!
EMX125 – Series 1: Prado Garcia holds off Sihvonen in an exciting match
Today the first round of the European Championships was completed in Valkenwaard. One of these was the European 125cc Championship. We saw an interesting and intense duel. A duel, first between Prado Garcia, Sihvonen and Genot. But after the latter had to drop out, it became a duel between the two KTM pilots.
Jorge Prado Garcia set a blistering pace, yet the Finn Miro Sihvonen managed more than once to go next to and even past the Spanish Junior KTM talent. However, the 14-year-old remained surprisingly calm and coolly and calculatedly countered all of Sihvonen's attacks. He also won the series ahead of the Finn and Cyril Genot. Marcel Conijn finished fourth best Dutchman ahead of Conrad Mewse.

EMX250 – Series 1: Adam Sterry wins heat in Dutch sand!
In the EMX250 class we saw the British Adam Sterry ride a nice steady race. The Briton took command from the start of the race, but the KTM pilot briefly received pressure from BUD Kawasaki pilot Maxime Desprey. But when he disappeared from the match, it was a piece of cake for Adam Sterry. The Low Countries took full advantage of the loss of Maxime Desprey. We saw Nick Kouwenberg move up one place to second place and Damon Graulus moved up to third place.
We were also able to record a great match from Bas Vaessen. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki pilot had a mid-pack start, but had already fought back to fifth place by the end of the race!

EMX300 – Series 1: Yentel Martens takes home a great victory!
The beautiful, sweet sound of the 300cc two-strokes was also unleashed in Valkenswaard. We saw Yentel Martens get off to a good start. He and Lewis Gregory made it a nice series until the Brit made a mistake. Then we had a wonderful 'clinic': How to drive sand with a 300! The man from Lommel expanded his lead lap after lap over Mike Kras, among others, who had fallen into second position due to Lewis Gregory's crash and also finished there ahead of Lewis Gregory.
