French dominate EMX250 and EMX125 openers in Trentino
Last weekend we also got the start for the 2015 European Championship in Trentino, Italy. In both the EMX250 and the EMX125, victory went to a French rider. In the EMX250, victory went to Bud Racing Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Maxime Desprey and the EMX125 victory went to Kemea Yamaha Yamalube rider Maxime Renaux.
How did our lowlanders fare there in the north of Italy... With a thirteenth and sixth place, Kemea Yamaha Yamalube rider Damon Graulus was our only Belgian representative in the EMX250 class. With our northern neighbors, Nick Kouwenberg performed best in this opening test with a third and fourth place in the heats. Davy Pootjes fell just outside the top ten twice, with an eleventh and twelfth place.
In the EMX125 it was Cyril Genot and Nathan Renkens who brought home eleven and seven European Championship points respectively. Jago Geerts and Matthias Van Roy were qualified for this opening test in Italy, but unfortunately were unable to finish in the points.
