Even though there was a lot of attention for the opening round of the new ONK, I was still crossed into Belgium. For example, the VLM was a guest in Westerlo. With almost a full gate at the Inters open class, excitement was guaranteed here too.
In the MX1 class it was David Cools who won both heats by 3 and 5 seconds ahead of Wouter Van Massenhoven. Kenny Janssens took the podium with two third places.
In the MX2, Jonathan Banken crowned himself the winner of the day, ahead of Yannick Heylen and Kristof Scheynen.
