Trey Canard wins and Roczen missteps in Oakland!!!
Trey Canard has won the Oakland Supercross. The Honda rider completed a flawless race to take the win ahead of Ryan Dungey and Chad Reed. The leader in the standings Ken Roczen miscalculated after a jump at the beginning of the race, which cost him some points and also his leadership position, which he had to leave to Dungey. In the Lites, the victory went to Geico Honda rider Malcolm Stewart.
Supercross 450
It was Andrew Short who took the holeshot ahead of Friese, Roczen, Reed and Dungey. Chad Reed immediately passed Roczen into second place. But in the second round Ken Roczen immediately wanted to put this right. Roczen caught Reed inside, but it turned out that he had not picked up enough speed and came up a bit short on the jump, resulting in his face landing on top of the handlebars. Roczen was clearly groggy for a moment before he came back onto the track. At the front, Reed had now taken the lead ahead of Trey Canard. Yes, the two fighters from Anaheim II were now battling each other for first place. Trey Canard, who only finished the opening lap in tenth place, cleanly passed Chad Reed on the seventh lap and became the new leader in the race. With five laps to go, Chad Reed, who was in a certain second place, made a mistake. Reed ended up next to the circuit during a jump and third man Ryan Dungey had second place up for grabs. Meanwhile, Ken Roczen was also trying to get as many points as possible after his misstep in the second round. Roczen would eventually finish in fifteenth place, which gave him six more points. At the front, Trey Canard had everything under control and won this Main Event ahead of Dungey and Reed. Fourth place went to Eli Tomac, who was unable to take full advantage of Roczen's misstep. In the standings we now have Ryan Dungey in the lead with four points ahead of the unfortunate Ken Roczen.

Lites 250
In the Lites, the victory went to the younger brother of 2-time Supercross Champ James Stewart, Malcolm Stewart. It was Malcolm Stewart's very first victory with the Lites in his career. Second place went to standings leader Cooper Webb. Although this didn't go smoothly, because along the way a certain Tyler Bowers still had a score to settle with Cooper Webb after Anaheim II last weekend. In the fourth round it was pay time for Tyler Bowers who simply drove Cooper Webb off his pedestal. But Webb fought back and finished second behind Stewart. Alex Martin finished third ahead of Tyler Bowers and Zach Bell. Who did make a difference in Oakland was Jessy Nelson, who did not get further than tenth place.
