Kawasaki Europe and Stabilo MX team join forces!
We don't need to tell you that there has been a breath of fresh air at the Japanese Kawasaki for some time now. The brand has numerous “big boys” under contract, and many innovations will be implemented for 2015. Youth has also been taken into account, and Kawasaki will enter into a partnership with the Stabilo MX team to support youth talents in their rush to fame. The team will also receive support from Monster Energy, a brand that has had a long-standing partnership with Kawasaki.
Kawasaki is united behind this project and has therefore spared no effort to get three super talented riders to participate.
Jarno Oldenijens of Kawasaki Motors Europe puts it as follows. 'We know that we have a strong engine with the best steering characteristics, with which we can show great things. By entering into a partnership with Hans de Brouwer from the Stabilo MX team, we feel strengthened that we will succeed in our goal. Hans has a lot of experience in this sport, together with Stabilo we offer young talents the opportunity to grow. That is why it is very important that the riders show themselves in the ONK, European and World Championships. We have already managed to improve the KX85 in many areas with the technical knowledge of Grizzly Racing Service and will certainly continue to work on this with the riders.'
Hans de Brouwer of the Stabilo MX Team, 'Last year we were still able to achieve great results with limited resources with the Dutch title in MX2 class with Michael Hool. To be the pioneer in a youth project at European level together with Kawasaki is a great honor for us! We have worked very hard behind the scenes to present a strong team to the press. We are happy with the selection of drivers with which we will start the new season. We will therefore do our utmost to exceed Kawasaki's and our own expectations in the ONK, European and World Championships!'
The Stabilo Kawasaki MX Team can count on the following “young talents”, the fast Dane Bastian Boegh Damm, the Dutchman Brian van der Klij and the Belgian Glenn Bielen. In addition to these riders, William Saris will also be part of the team during the ONK competitions and will try to qualify for both home Grand Prix in Valkenswaard and Assen. Saris, number three in the MX1 class last season, will guide the riders and will therefore act as coach and trainer for the riders.
