Belgians dominate Loon Plage Beach Cross!
Today the 'Ronde des Sables 2014' was held in Loon Plage. Our Belgian compatriots showed that they are true sand bunnies, as no fewer than four Belgians managed to finish in the top five. The best of the day was Rockstar Energy pilot Clément Desalle. The Grand Prix rider was about a minute faster than the second man Adrien Van Beveren during the race, which lasted about two and a half hours. Last season's winner, Steve Ramon, completed the podium ahead of Jeffrey Dewulf and an extremely strong Axel Van De Sande. Ricky Claus in turn finished thirteenth.
There is no need to look for Yentel Martens and Marc De Reuver in the final results, both pilots had bad luck.
Aah bad luck! Was in 3rd place at the 1st pit stop. After pit stop 4th. But a crack in the radiator made me DNF. Feeling was good.
