James Stewart and Marvin Musquin win Red Bull straight rhythm
The first edition of Red Bull straight rhythm turned out to be a real success. There was some doubt beforehand whether this concept would be fun for the spectators and yesterday this certainly turned out to be the case. The matches between the Stewart brothers were fantastic, Travis Pastrana did not disappoint on his RMZilla and the matches were super exciting.
In the Open class the victory went to James Stewart. Stewart, who was at the start of a race for the first time since the doping issue, was the fastest of the day together with his brother Malcolm. Most of the time Malcolm was even faster than his brother, but a mistake in their run was punished mercilessly.
Bubba eventually beat Justin Brayton in the final, who made a good impression on his new KTM. Malcolm Stewart finished third and Dean Wilson finished strongly in fourth. The highlight of the evening in this class was undoubtedly Travis Pastrana, who, after beating Josh Hansen, pulled off a mega backflip at the finish jump.
There was no size on Marvin Musquin among the Lites. The technically strong Frenchman did not tolerate any resistance and rode flawlessly to victory. He defeated his new teammate Justin Hill in the final. Jesse Nelson won the third place competition.
