Dean Ferris with Wilvo Negaan Husqvarna Factory Racing in the MXGP in 2015!!!
The Wilvo Negaan Husqvarna Factory Racing team of former 500cc world champion Jacky Martens has announced that Australian Dean Ferris has signed for the MXGP in 2015. Ferris will therefore spend the entire MXGP season under the wings of Jacky Martens.
Wlvo Negaan Husqvarna Factory Racing is the official factory team of Husqvarna in the MX2 class. Aleksandr Tonkov is the only rider who has a contract with the team in MX2. In order to also score great results in the MXGP class, the team has signed an agreement with Dean Ferris. The fast Australian won the Belgian Grand Prix in MX2013 in 2 and may well be a potential podium finisher for 2015. The team is therefore happy to be able to work with Dean.
Jackie Martens :“We will work again to achieve good results and with Aleksandr Tonkov and Dean Ferris that is certainly possible. Dean was really interested in joining our team, so we discussed it with Husqvarna and gave him a place in the team for next year. In our structure you can fight for podium places and that is what we want to achieve with Dean next year. We still keep an option open for another top rider in the MX2 class for 2015.
