Joël Roelants speaks: “I have changed zero point zero”
A fall on June 15 in Maggiora, Italy, changed Joël Roelants' life forever. The only 25 year old Grobbendonk resident broke his back and was soon told that he would never be able to walk again. Anyone who follows Joël's Facebook and keeps an eye on the news will see that, just like he was as a motocross rider, he is very hard on himself. Joël is increasingly getting the hang of normal life, from showering to assembling cupboards, the former Junior World Champion now does it all independently.
This did not go unnoticed by national media such as Sporza, they contacted Joël and wrote the next article about him.
