Roczen and Musquin best mud devils in Indiana…
The penultimate stage of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held in Crawfordsville, Indiana. It was a completely new circuit for the drivers that had been added to the Nationals calendar. But unfortunately the weather gods did not cooperate and it became a real mud pit in Indiana.
450 Class: Ken Roczen delivers a sledgehammer…
Ken Roczen found a mud track in Indiana that really suited his taste. The leader in the standings dealt a serious blow to his KTM teammate Ryan Dungey. Before the race, the difference between the two title candidates was barely seven points, but Roczen, who was clearly the better mud rider, extended his lead to twenty points. Ken Roczen took the day's victory in Indiana with a series victory and a second place. Trey Canard finished second again with a third place and victory in the second series. The third podium place went to Ryan Dungey, who finished second behind the mud devil Roczen in the first series at 47 seconds, but did not get further than ninth in the second series.
With only one stage left next week in Utah, Ken Roczen is in a luxurious position to capture his first-ever 450 National title.

250 Class: Jeremy Martin takes first 250 National title…
Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha Jeremy Martin has won his first ever 250 National title in Indiana. Martin only needed a second place in the first series to win the title. His lead with one test to go is now 69 points over second man Blake Baggett and provided there are only 50 points left to earn, the title has already been won for Jeremy Martin.
The first heat was won by Jessy Nelson ahead of Jeremy Martin and Marvin Musquin. Christophe Pourcel proved that it was really bad because of the mud. Pourcel entered the pits immediately after the start for another pair of glasses and left last and still managed to finish ninth. The second series was perfect for Marvin Musquin, who was also able to take the day's victory with this victory. Pourcel, who finished second in this second series, just missed the podium in Indiana. In addition to Musquin, Joseph Savatgy and Jessy Nelson were also on stage.
