Belgian wins European Championship 300 in Lommel
Mike Vanderstraeten managed to control the European Championship 300 race in Lommel. The sand hare who is active on a weekly basis in the VLM ranks managed to take the overall victory with a third and a first place. This makes him the first Belgian to win an overall round in the brand new European Championship 300. In the overall rankings in Lommel, Mike preceded the British Gregory Lewis, who with two second places fell just one point short of keeping our compatriot from victory. The newly crowned European 300 champion Samuel Bernardini finished third. The Italian managed to win the first heat, but did not get further than sixth place in the second heat.
