Tomac and Martin take victory in Millville
In Millville we got round eight of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The victories went to Eli Tomac and Jeremy Martin. For Eli Tomac it was also his very first 450 National win of his career. In the 250 Class it was already the fourth victory of the season for standings leader Jeremy Martin.
450 class

The leader in the standings Jeremy Martin has done a good thing in the championship standings with his victory in Millville. Martin took a series victory and a second place, while his competitors made some mistakes. Blake Baggett was the biggest victim of this, he scored a fourth place in the first heat but had to retire in the second heat. Cooper Webb was able to limit the damage a bit with a ninth place and a series victory. So second place in the overall standings went to Marvin Musquin ahead of Cooper Webb. Christophe Pourcel fell just off the podium with a third and sixth place in the heats. Jeremy Martin therefore increases his lead in the standings and is now 43 points ahead of his Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha teammate Cooper Webb. While Blake Baggett is already following 56 points behind with only four tests to go.
