In the Spotlight: Eli Tomac
Eli Tomac has had to deal with some injuries this season. As a result, the “Rookie Season” for the Geico Honda rider in the 450 Class did not go as he would have liked. Things went wrong from the start of the Supercross season and he only finished on the podium at the East Rutherford Supercross at the end of the season. But Tomac also missed the start of the Nationals due to an injury. It wasn't until the fifth race of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship that Tomac was able to get back to the start. In Muddy Creek he immediately took the third podium place behind Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. But a few weeks later in Millville it really was “Tomac Time”. Thanks to two series victories, he also immediately took his very first 450 National win of his career. Now that he is 100% fit again, there will certainly be some great duels in the Nationals with the KTM boys.
