EMX250: Brian Bogers takes the win in Uddevalla
The fifth stage of the European EMX250 Championship was held in Uddevalla, Sweden. But also in this fifth test we had another winner with Brian Bogers. The Dutchman had enough with a second and third place in the heats to crown himself the fifth overall winner of a test in this EMX250 season. Frenchman Sullivan Jaulin and Nick Kouwenberg were placed on the podium as numbers two and three with winner Bogers. The series in Uddevalla were won by Adam Sterry and Nick Kouwenberg.
Our best compatriot was Brent Van Doninck with an eighth and seventh place in the heats. Creymert Racing Team driver finished seventh in the daily standings. Cedric Grobben rode to 17th place in the first series, which was good for four points, but he only finished 23rd in the second series. Finally, Dietger Damiaens finished 28 & 24 in the heats.
In the standings after five races in this European EMX250 Championship, the British Steven Clarke remains in the lead with 33 points ahead of the Frenchman Sullivan Jaulin. In third place we get the winner of Uddevalla Brian Bogers who is already looking at a deficit of 35 points. Brent Van Doninck was still third in the previous standings, but now drops back to seventh place with two tests to go in this championship.
The next race for the EMX250 is in Finnish Hyvinkää on July 12-13.
