EMX125 : Brain Hsu wins and becomes the new leader…
In the Czech Loket we also had the sixth round for the European Championship 125cc. The leader in the standings Davy Pootjes, who dislocated his shoulder during the previous test in Teutschenthal, was back at the start in Loket. But things were not going really well for the Dutchman. With a fifth and sixth place in the series, Pootjes has to leave the lead in the standings to the German Brain Hsu.
The Rockstar Suzuki rider Brain Hsu won both series in Loket and thus also takes the lead in the standings of the EMX125 championship. With only one race to go in Lommel next weekend, Hsu has a 12-point lead over Red Bull KTM rider Davy Pootjes. Because Pootjes is the better sand rider, he can still go either way in the battle for the European title in the EMX125.
Unfortunately, our compatriots were not able to get into the points in Loket. The Kemea Yamaha rider Cyril Genot did not get further than a 24th and 26th place and Bryan Engelen finished 33rd and 34th in the heats.
The next match is on August 3 in Lommel, Belgium. .
