Grand Prix Motocross in Assen?!
The rumors surfaced last weekend, not coincidentally when the MotoGP circus descended on the legendary TT circuit of Assen. The rumor was as follows: 'Will we see Herlings crash through the Geert Timmerbocht next year?' That's all we needed to shed some light here and there because Jeffrey was thinking about a wildcard debut in Moto3 speed or was there a Motocross on the horizon? Grand Prix in and around the Assen circuit in the air?! The last was closest to the truth. Behind the scenes there is hard work and negotiations by, among others, Jan Postema and Lee van Dam Productions or LDP International for short. Known in the world for the speed of, among others, the former Rizla Racing Day at Assen, now the Gamma Racing day. The organization mainly wants to make use of the very well-developed infrastructure in and around the TT circuit.
