EMX125 : Brian Hsu takes maximum advantage of Paotjes' failure
In Germany we got the fifth round of the European Championship 125cc. There was quite a bit to do in Teutschenthal. In particular, the current leader in the standings Davy Pootjes dislocated his shoulder on Saturday during the first series. Pootjes tried again on Sunday, but during the Warm Up the shoulder dislocated again and it was over for the Dutchman.
The competition in Teutschenthal was won by the German Brian Hsu, who won both series. Due to the retirement of Davy Pootjes, Brian Hsu immediately makes up 50 points in the championship standings. With only two races left in this European 125cc Championship, the difference is only seven points between leader Davy Pootjes and Brain Hsu.
Of our compatriots, it was Kemea Yamaha rider Cyril Genot who performed best in Teutschenthal with a 15 & 12 place in the heats. Finally, Bryan Engelen took 17th place in the opening series.
The next match is on July 27 in the Czech Loket.
