Jeffrey Herlings takes 40th Grand Prix victory!!!
Jeffrey Herlings took his 40th Grand Prix victory of his career in Maggiora, Italy. As usual, nothing could be done about the superior power of this Jeffrey Herlings. His teammate at Red Bull KTM Jordi Tixier came second and third place went to the Swiss Arnaud Tonus.
Jeffrey Herlings supreme!!!
It was Jordi Tixier who took the holeshot ahead of Romain Febvre and Jose Butron. But it was Jeffrey Herlings who quickly took over the lead. Behind Herlings we immediately got Arnaud Tonus and a little further on we had Tixier with Febvre in his wheel for third place. In the third lap Febvre passed Tixier to third place. Meanwhile, Honda rider Tim Gajser was also advancing from the background. The Slovenian came from tenth place in the opening lap and would finish fourth. The Husqvarna pilot Romain Febvre was in third place, but lost a number of places due to a fall three laps from the end. As usual, Herlings rode his own race and won this first series unchallenged ahead of Tonus and Tixier. Julien Lieber was our best compatriot with thirteenth place and Damon Graulus, who crashed at the start, still took eighteenth place in this first series.

Jeffrey Herlings takes victory unthreatened…
The holeshot in this second series belonged to Valentin Guillod, but it was Jeffrey Herlings who took over the lead at the end of the first lap. Once Herlings is in the lead, there is nothing left to do. So we had to keep an eye out for what was happening behind Herlings' back. First it was Dylan Ferrandis who took second place from Tixier. Valentin Guillod in turn also went over Tixier. So we had a duel for fourth place with Tixier, Febvre, Tonus and Gajser. It was Febvre who made the first mistake, but third man Guillod also made a mistake two laps from the end. So it came to a final sprint in the last lap between Tixier, Tonus and Gajser for third place. Jordi Tixier just made it and finished third behind Ferrandis and the winner of this second series Jeffrey Herlings. Our compatriots Julien Lieber and Damon Graulus crossed the finish line in ninth and tenth.
