Clement Desalle takes the victory in Teutschenthal!!!
Clement Desalle took his fourth GP win of the season in the Teutschenthal. With a second place and a series victory, Desalle was the deserved overall winner of the German Grand Prix. As a result, Desalle makes up thirteen points on the leader in the standings Antonio Cairoli. Second place went to the returning Max Nagl and who else but Jeremy Van Horebeek took the third podium place.
Max Nagl takes the victory in front of his home crowd!!!
It was Max Nagl who took the holeshot in front of his home crowd ahead of Shaun Simpson and Milko Potisek. In the first lap Clement Desalle immediately moved into second place behind Max Nagl. Van Horebeek was just behind Cairoli in eighth place and Strijbos was just in the top ten. After two laps, Van Horebeek already attacked Cairoli for sixth place. Nagl kept the pace at the front and even pulled away from Desalle just before half the race. In the meantime, Frossard had already moved into third place with Van Horebeek and Cairoli behind him. Towards the end of the series Desalle started to close the gap on Nagl and we got to see an exciting ending. Not only for the series victory, but also for fourth place with Van Horebeek and Cairoli. For the series victory, Max Nagle kept his cool and won the exciting final sprint with Clement Desalle. Steven Frossard finished third and Van Horebeek won his sprint with Antonio Cairoli for fourth place. Kevin Strijbos finished seventh and Ken De Dijcker finished thirteenth in this first series.

Clement Desalle unthreatened to victory!!!
It was Frenchman Milko Potisek who had the holeshot ahead of Clement Desalle and Shaun Simpson. But Desalle quickly took over the lead and had German Ullrich behind him in second place. Max Nagl who won the first series did not fare so well in this second series and was outside the top ten. Ullrich held on for about five laps and then our Belgians arrived. First Van Horebeek and then Strijbos who came in second and third place. At the front, Desalle continued to expand his lead lap by lap and his teammate Strijbos was also in second place at the expense of Van Horebeek. Antonio Cairoli was in fourth place and also started to attack Van Horebeek's position. In the meantime, Max Nagl also tried to limit the damage after the start and would eventually finish seventh. Clement Desalle rode unthreatened to victory in this second series ahead of his teammate Kevin Strijbos and Jeremy Van Horenbeek. A somewhat ill Cairoli took fourth place and Shaun Simpson finished fifth. Ken De Dijcker fell just short of the top ten in this second series with his eleventh place.
