EMX250 : Brent Van Doninck wins in Matterley Basin!!!
The EMX250 riders were presented with their third stage of the European Championship in the British Matterley Basin. We also immediately received the first Belgian success of this 2014 campaign. Because it was our compatriot Brent Van Doninck who won his very first EMX250 race in his young career.
The Creymert Racing Team pilot only had to finish second in the heats twice on the Matterley Basin circuit to take the overall victory.
The Herentals native was beaming on the podium together with the Spaniard Jorge Zaragoza and the British Adam Sterry. After all, the series victories went to the British Ben Watson and Frenchman Sullivan Jaulin.
In the standings after three games, Brent Van Doninck immediately enters the top three after this victory. The Creymert Racing Team rider is now 5 points behind the number two in the standings Jorge Zaragoza and 26 points behind the British leader Steven Clarke.
The next EMX250 race is on June 15 in Maggoira, Italy.
