Rnd 1 Aussie MX at Broadford (with videos)
Last weekend the Australian Motocross Championship started in Broadford. Those present in qualifying already saw one of the favorites drop out. Cody Cooper, a title favorite in the Pro Open class (450cc), hit his face with a fence and broke his jaw and eye socket. Immediate exit for the brand new New Zealand Motocross champion. In the 'Super Pole' it was Billy Mackenzie who set the fastest time ahead of Jake Moss and Matt Moss. In the series we saw three different winners in the Pro Open class. The first heat went to Adam Monea, the second heat to Matt Moss and the third to Jake Moss. However, the most consistent of these three was Matt Moss and he was able to take the overall victory.
