Green Flag #10 – April 13
Last weekend, Axel, the Netherlands, was more than well occupied Belgian National disputed. This competition also served as a dress rehearsal for RES Axel, who will host the ONK on Saturday, April 26. Who also saw it as a good general was Mike Kras. The leader in the ONK MX1 fell to Axel and won both heats! Thanks to this victory in both heats, he stayed ahead of Yentel Martens (2-3) and Marvin Van Daele (7-3) in the overall classification. In the youth class we saw an extremely dominant Jago Geerts who showed friend and foe that he had an exceptional talent. The young man won both heats on his training course and was ahead of Tallon Verhelst and Ian de Sweemer in the day's settlement.

De MCLB The boys had another appointment in Laarne and there we surprisingly did not see a victory for Steve Seronval. It was Jeffrey Dewulf who took home the victory with a first and third place. This was at the expense of Jurgen Wybo (2-2) and Manuel Priem (4-1). Seronval recorded a sixth and a DNF. In the International MX2, the victory went to WackoBracko, Wietse Brackman who outpaced Gian Scheele Gilles Tack.
On to the other amateur federation, the VLM than. These in turn settled in Haacht. Provided with plenty of local specialties, the audience could marvel at Wesley Verheyen, who managed to win two series victories. This also immediately brought him the victory of the day ahead of Sven Breugelmans and Kenny Janssens. At the International MX2 we saw Jonathan Banken walking with the flowers again. Banken proved himself to be the strongest MX2 pilot twice and won the overall victory ahead of Jelle Verbruggen and Frederik Daenen.
De VMCF'ers were then allowed to do their thing again in Moerbeke-Waas. There, those present saw Stijn Verstrepen win the first series and Jilani Cambré the second. But both men also had one series in which the finish was not reached. As a result, the victory in Moerbeke went to Yerki Janvier, who clearly showed himself to be the most regular with two second places. The Inters A day podium was completed by Vincent Collet (3-3) and Junior Slegers (4-4). At the Inters B the victory went to Joni Coemans.
In the Dutch town of Oss it happened again World Sidecar Championship got started. The first series there was won by the ten-time sidecar cross world champion Daniel Willemsen together with his baking player Robbie Bax. Unfortunately for this duo we saw a huge crash at the start of the second moto in which they were involved. As a result, they were immediately eliminated from winning the day. That day's victory in Oss went to Etienne Bax-Kaspar Stupelis, who managed to collect 45 points with a third place and a series victory. This put them ahead of Adriaenssen-Van den Bogaart (44 pts) and Hendrickx-Mucenieks (36 pts).
