Aranda & Jaulin win German SX title!
Yesterday and today two more heats for the German supercross championship were held in Germany. In the SX2 class there was nothing to do for the Frenchman Sullivan Jaulin all weekend. The pilot competing for the Pfeil Monster Energy Kawasaki team won the title of Prince of Dortmund with 90 points compared to Dominique Thury who finished second with 74 points. Third place went to a regular Adrien Escoffier. With this result, Sulivan Jaulin was immediately assured of the German Supercross title! Yet another success story for the Pfeil Monster Energy Kawasaki team!
In the SX1 class we were especially looking forward to the French and Gavin Faith. On Saturday evening it was Gavin Faith who won the final and on Sunday afternoon it was Florent Richier... Yet neither were very happy because it was Greg Aranda from Sturm Racing Kawasaki who rode both the brand new Suzuki Swift and won the German Supercross title!
A nice touch on both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, the freestyle show was cheered up by two crazy Belgians! Gilles Dejong and Rob De Clercq did a duo backflip in Dortmund! This gave the German party a bit of a Belgian touch!
