Marvin Musquin is the new 'King of Geneva'
In Geneva, Switzerland, Marivn Musquin won the title of 'king of Geneva' with a victory on Friday and a second place on Saturday. The KTM rider succeeds Justin Brayton.
On Friday, Musquin won easily after Malcolm Stewart and Justin Brayton crashed together. He was able to easily maintain a small lead and win ahead of Wil Hahn, who beat him in the AMA East Coast SX last season. Gregory Aranda finished third on the podium.
On Saturday the best start was again for Musquin. However, Brayton was soon in the wheel and after a few laps the Frenchman had to admit his superiority to Brayton, who eventually also won ahead of Musquin and Malcolm Stewart.
In the women's race, the victory went to the American Jessica Patterson, ahead of Kiara Fontanesi.
