Small MXoN invasion on the Horensbergdam!
It is always busy in Genk on Sundays. Except the usual weekend warriors and amateurs, there were also some fast guns. They had one thing in common; they entered the final straight line on the Horensbergdam in preparation for the MXoN next weekend in Teutschenthal. Amongst them usual suspects as Dean Ferris (MX2 for Team Australia), Rui Goncalves (MX1 for Team Portugal) and Santtu Tiainen (MX1 for Team Finland).
Two more surprising names were Makoto Ogata (Open for Team Japan) who is still in the battle for the Japanese MX1 title and the Australian Todd Waters (Open to the Aussies) who we see playing in the World Cup next year for Ice One Racing Husqvarna. Ogata turned the throttle hard and as always, the official HRC rider appeared in great shape. But the sensation in Genk was Waters, who clearly had few adjustment problems and immediately made an impression. That's promised!
