Dean Ferris on Yamaha in the MX1 2014!!!
Dean Ferris will ride Yamaha in the MX2014 class in 1. The Australian who took his very first GP victory during the Belgian Grand Prix and finished in sixth place in the final standings of the MX2 World Championship. So he makes the switch to the MX1 class and can therefore stay in Steve Dixon's team for an extra year.
Dean Ferris : It's good to stay with the team and Yamaha for another year. I feel good with Steve and his team and we have already had a very good MX2 season together. I think I am a better 450 pilot and it had always been my intention to ride Grand Prix's in the MX1 class. So I'm glad we've sorted this out again. I will see the new engine as soon as possible and then I can immediately feel how the new engine will run. I can start testing it from next week and I can hardly wait.
