Jeffrey Herlings to GP victory no. 28!!!
Jeffrey herlings also won the twelfth race of the world championship in Finland. He immediately scores a 12 out of 12 and equals the record of his team manager Stefan Everts, who had the record of 12 GP wins in a row in 2006. It was also his 28th GP victory and is therefore placed as the best Dutchman in the list of grand prix winners.rs.
Jeffrey Herlings was also outstanding again at the Hyvinkää circuit in Finland. He only had to tolerate Glenn Coldenhoff and Dylan Ferrandis in front of him at the starts and then completely dominate the series from the first laps. It was one of the easiest victories of the season for The Bullet.
Australian Dean Ferris was second on the podium after two third places. For Ferris, it was a boost for him as a team after some poor games. After Qatar and Portugal, it was his third podium finish of the season.
The third podium place went to Frenchman Jordi Tixier, Herlings' teammate. In the first series, Tixier had to do a lot of work after a fall in the first lap and still finished fifth. In the second series he was immediately at the front and finished second behind Herlings.
José Butron rode his own race as usual and finished fourth in the final standings. In the first series the Spaniard did not have it so easy and only finished ninth. But in the second series things went well from the start and he took fourth place in the second series.
The Russian Alexander Tonkov had a serious crash in Latvia last weekend. But it seemed like I was driving around in Finland again. With a tenth and sixth place, he finished fifth in the final standings of the Grand Prix of Finland.
Home rider Harri Kullas who has only been on the KTM for a few races. Achieved his best result of the season. With a seventh and a tenth place, he took sixth place in his home grand prix.
The Wilvo Negaan JM Racing team had a mixed competition in Finland. In the first heat Jake Nicholls finished a good fourth place, but crashed at the start of the second heat and only finished 19th. His teammate Romain Febvre had to retire in the first heat and took fifth place in the second heat.
Glenn Coldenhoff finished second after his holeshot in the first series. But had less luck at the start in the second series. He crashed together with Nicholls, Coldenhoff immediately gave chase but had to abandon the battle when he was in twelfth place with technical problems.
Our compatriot Kevin Fors took four more World Cup points in the first series with seventeenth place.
