24MX Honda also in Lausitzring and Loket with Gercar
Clemen Gercar After Finland, he will compete in two additional MX1 Grand Prix for 24MX Honda. We also see the sympathetic Slovenian at work at the Lausitzring and in Loket. The 22-year-old pilot is currently leading the MX3 World Championship, in which he competes for the Czech UFO Racing Team.
Gercar made his debut in the MX1 last weekend during the Finnish GP. Klemen, who feels much more at home on a hard track, used Hyvinkää to get used to the 24MX Honda CRF450R. Due to the cancellation of the Brazilian MX3 GP, Gercar can take advantage of a break in the calendar to gain additional MX1 experience in Germany and the Czech Republic.
This weekend the battle for the MX3 world title continues in Chernivtsky (Ukraine) where the 6de round of the championship takes place.
Klemen Gercar: “I have to admit that the GP of Finland was very difficult for me. There were several firsts, actually too many of a good thing! So I rode it in the sand for the first time in four months, it was my first race on the 2013 Honda CRF450R and it was my first Grand Prix in MX1… In that sense, the results were not a big surprise or disappointment. The level is simply extremely high among the best riders in the world. But I'm really looking forward to what I can achieve at the Lausitzring and in Loket. I mainly want to enjoy myself, it's also nice that I can ride for points or a championship without any pressure. I would like to thank Ladislav from Ufo Racing Team and the guys from 24MX Honda again. Without them this wouldn't have been possible!”
