Home win for Higashino in Osaka
Taka Higashino won the fourth race of the Red Bull X-fighters last weekend. Higashino, who himself comes from Osaka, defeated championship leader Tom Pages in an exciting final. Pages, despite his new trick (see photo), had to settle for second place after a flawless final run for both. The victory was dedicated to the late Eigo Sato, who tragically fell and lost his life earlier this year.
Pages now has a comfortable lead of 60 points over American Rob Adelberg. Danny Torres, who was already eliminated in the first round in Osaka, follows in third place, 80 points behind. The next stop for the X-fighters is on July 19 in Madrid's famous arena.
