Herlings stays at KTM for two more years
Pit Beirer, head of the KTM team, has announced that Jeffrey Herlings has signed with KTM for another two years. The Dutchman has already shown impossible things on several occasions. When Jeffrey was young, it was already clear that he was an exceptional talent. Especially in the sand, without a doubt he is the best sand rider in the world. But this year he also shows that he is almost unbeatable in every field. He has already won every GP this year and lost only one series.
Pit Beirer: “Jeffrey is the youngest rider in his class. He is only 18 years old and we have never seen such great talent at such a young age. Such a special talent also has special needs and we are convinced that Jeffrey will meet those needs in the hands of Stefan Everts. Stefan also strongly urged Jeffrey to ride MX2 for another year. We are very happy to extend the contract with Jeffrey and guide him further into the record books.”
Beirer said of Herlings that he is a perfect example of KTM's commitment to working with the best pilots at a young age and guiding these pilots throughout the rest of their careers.
