European Championship250cc: Valentin Guillod also wins in France
The Swiss Valentin Guillod has also won the second race for the European 250cc Championship after the opening race. Valentin Guillod, who is accompanied by former MX3 world champion Yves Demaria, has a two out of two in the European Championship 250cc. Our compatriot Damon Graulus was less lucky on the beautiful Ernee circuit.
At the beginning of the Final it was the Dutchman Ceril Klein Kromhof who had the lead. Klein Kromhof was able to remain in the lead until halfway through the final until Swiss Valentin Guillod had enough and took over the lead. The current leader in the standings rode to his second victory in the European Championship 250cc. In second place we had another Swiss, Jeremy Seewer of the Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe Team, who was able to take second place from Ceril Klein Kromhof two laps from the end.
Our compatriot Damon Graulus, who finished second in the opening race in Portugal, had less luck in Ernee. In the qualifying heat he had a hard fall and suffered a back and neck injury. Graulus even had to qualify for the final via the Last Chance Qualifying. The Standing Construct KTM rider had to start right on the outside of the starting gate. After the start, Graulus was in sixteenth place and tried to limit the damage. Ultimately, he would finish eleventh in this final series.
The other compatriots in the final were Alex Van De Sande (30th) and Arthur Dumont (34th). Brent Van Doninck did not reach the final in Ernee.
