Coldenhoff spoilsport for superior Herlings
Wonderful game of motocross on a completely renovated track in the Hof van Overijssel. To the great delight of the organization in Lichtenvoorde, no one was able to crown themselves champion prematurely. Not even MX2 champion Jeffrey Herlings (1-1), although he came very close in Markelo.
In the MX2 offered Alexander Lupino value for money. He kept the Dutch favorites talking. Until Herlings went supersonic and Coldenhoff sucked in. Nice work too Petar Petrov in the first heat where he finished third ahead of Lupino. The Bulgarian was not rewarded for his hard work when he retired in the final heat. Won without opposition Jeffrey herlings comfortable.
Also in series two there was nothing to be done against 'The Bullit'! He won by a minute and 10 seconds ahead of Alessandro Lupino. Glenn Coldenhoff managed to postpone the Helrings party with a clever comeback. After a bad start, the Standing Construct KTM rider recovered to 3de place. Romain Fèbvre still lacked competitive rhythm to compete at the front, but did finish fourth in the second round. Regional rider Ceriel Klein Kromhof finished neatly in the top five twice. A regular Kevin Fors came sixth twice.
Pauls Jonass keeps winning!
Unlike in the MX1, Belgium was partying in the 85 cc. The British Conrad Mewse received considerable resistance. He was defeated twice by Riemstenaar Cyril Enjoyment. Iago Geerts came third. Genot will switch to the 125 cc next week. In the 125 cc class the spoils were divided equally between Pauls Jonass and Freek Van Der Vlist. No title for the Kemea-Reytec-Van De Laar Yamaha. He had to leave the overall victory to Jonass. Davy Pootjes ended up in third place after spectacle man Niels Van Boxtel crashed.
