Tommy Searle and Jake Nicholls take victory in Lyng…
The second stage of the ACU Maxxis British Motocross Championship was held in Lyng, England. In MX1 victory went to Tommy Searle, the Kawasaki pilot won two of the three heats and finished second in the opening heat. Second in the final standings was Tanel Leok, the Estonian won the opening series but afterwards had to recognize the superior in Tommy Searle. Third place went to Matiss Karo who finished third three times.
Steve Ramon who competes for the English Buildbase Honda team had a difficult day in Lyng. With a 25th, 11th and 16th place in the heats, Ramon only finished 16th in the daily rankings.
In MX2 the overall victory went to Jake Nicholls who has already won the three series. Second place went to defending champion Elliott Banks Browne and third was Nathan Watson.
