The Motocross CO2 forest is being planted!
After winter weather prevented the planting of the Motorcross CO2 forest last month, we were able to set a new date (which is not easy because all motorcross competitions have started in the meantime!)
When?
Wednesday, March 20 from 15 p.m.
Where?
Karperstraat in Ostend
The CO2 forest will be 1 hectare in size and will contain 2 to 3000 CO2 trees! The promotion runs in collaboration with bos+ (www.bosplus.be) and counts towards www.10miljoenbomen.be. The slogan is WE GO FOR ZERO CO2.
This week, official invitations will be sent to politicians, TV, newspapers and trade magazines so that this will appear in all media. We already have commitments from Stefan and Liam Everts, Joël Smets, Eric Geboers, Steve Ramon and Jens Getteman. We are of course still looking for volunteers to help plant that day. Come in large numbers, dressed in a motocross jersey and cap and bring a shovel and a pair of sturdy boots!
Of course you can also continue to support the campaign by buying a CO2 tree for 10 euros www.motorcrossCO2bos.be and follow the instructions on the site. Later this year we will plant CO2 trees on the training grounds so that they remain in compliance with the environmental permits.
